Slow day on the bus, slow day on the blog.
Here is something from yesterday.
I hate it when people are reckless with their life and make me participate in it. And I'm not talking about the people who were involved in the accidents on I-80 yesterday, but reckless driving is maddening too.
I decided that I would forgo walking to the bus stop since it was snowy and cold. I therefore needed to put some gas in my car. I stopped at the gas station and proceeded to fill my tank. Then someone pulled up and left their car running and started filling up too. I was thinking, "Man, I don't want to go up in a fireball today, Jerk." So I got out of there as quick as I could, but I felt like telling him off and showing him the warning signs. I've seen the same thing before at that station. I mean, is it that cold? That you have to leave your car running while you fill up? Well it will be real warm in a minute! And it really makes me mad when I have my son in the car and some bozo is standing there talking on his cell phone at the pump next to me. Come on people, safety first!
Here's what can happen when you get back in your car while fueling (which the signs say not to do, just like they say don't use a cell phone) and forget touch something and discharge the static
Here's a cell phone example
